I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in January 2000 at the age of 12. After living half of my life in the bathroom, my doctor suggested that I consider having surgery to remove my diseased colon and live with a permanent ileostomy. I got my ileostomy on June 22nd, 2010. This is a record of my journey through illness and, hopefully, recovery.
